Practical information: access and visiting hours, for relatives and companions

THIS VISITING REGIME WILL BE FOLLOWED WHENEVER THE EPIDEMIOLOGICAL SITUATION PERMITS AND IN NON-COVID UNITS THAT ARE NOT IN AN OUTBREAK SITUATION.

GENERAL RULES:

Mandatory use of surgical mask and hand hygiene.
Preferably, the same accompanying person with a full vaccination regimen.

Depending on the capacities of the spaces and the discretion of the area leaders, this regime may be modified at certain times.

HOSPITAL DEL MAR

For the duration of the stay, as long as strengthening of units permits and at the criterion of supervision of each service and/or unit:

Hospitalization Units and *Mixed Floor

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
1 person per visit.
Opening hours: from 10:00 h to 20:00 h.

Critics and Semicritics Unit

COMPANION 12 HOURS

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
1 person per visit.
2 two authorized persons.
Schedule: from 08:00 h to 20:00 h.

PUNCTUAL VISITS

Visit every day from the first day of admission.
1 person for each visit.

Post-Surgical Reanimation Unit

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
1 person in each visiting shift.
The patient may be visited two times a day.
Visitor hours: from 13:00 h to 14:30 h and from 18:00 h to 20:00 h.

Emergency

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
1 person in each visiting shift.
Opening hours: 24 hours.
Accompanying persons must ALWAYS remain inside the BOX.

Hospitalization units COVID or in the outbreak situation

Inpatient units

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
1 person per visit.
Opening hours: from 10:00 h to 20:00 h.

Critical and semi-critical care units

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
1 person per visit.
Opening hours: from 08:00 h to 20:00 h.

Emergencies

Access to boxes and corridors of the Restricted Area will not be allowed.

Exceptional Cases (we visit as indicated by the assistive team)

Paediatric patients.
Childbirth and/or puerperium.
End of life process.
Persons with severe cognitive impairment and/or acute confusional syndrome.
Severe cognitive impairment (according to medical and/or nursing criteria).

CENTRE ESPERANÇA

At the time of admission and discharge, a family member is allowed to accompany the patient to the hospitalisation unit.

During the stay, as long as the capacity of the units allows it and at the discretion of the supervision of each service and/or unit:

Inpatient units

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
1 person per visit.
Opening hours: from 10:00 h to 20:00 h.

COVID or outbreak hospitalisation units

Inpatient units

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
1 person per visit.
Opening hours: from 10:00 h to 20:00 h.

Critical and semi-critical care units

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
1 person per visit.
Opening hours: from 10:00 h to 20:00 h.

Emergencies

Access to boxes and corridors of the Restricted Area will not be allowed.

Exceptional cases (visiting regime according to the indications of the care team)

Minors.
Dementia and/or severe cognitive impairment.
Acute confusional syndrome or delirium.
Severe sensory deficit.
Severe communication impairment (aphasia).
End of life situation.

FORUM CENTRE

At the time of admission and discharge, a family member is allowed to accompany the patient to the hospitalisation unit.

During the stay, as long as the capacity of the units allows it and at the discretion of the supervision of each service and/or unit:

Geriatric Units (Convalescence, Subacute and Long Stay)

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
1 person per visit.
Opening hours: from 10:00 h to 20:00 h.

COVID or outbreak hospitalisation units

Visits are not authorised.

Exceptional cases

Dementia and/or cognitive impairment, with severe behavioural and/or severe confusional disorder.
Severe anxious and/or depressive pathology.
Severe sensory deficit.
End-of-life situation.

Acute Psychiatry Units

Daily visit per inpatient.
The visit will always be by appointment.
Only 1 person in each visit.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 4 to 7 pm, and holidays and weekends, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 4 to 7 pm.
Duration of the visit: 2 hours.
The allocation to the different slots and days will be made in a personalized way from the unit.

Subacute Psychiatry Units

Daily visit per inpatient.
The visit will always be by appointment.
Only 1 person in each visit.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 4 to 7 pm, and holidays and weekends, from 10 am to 7 pm.
Duration of the visit: 2 hours.
The allocation to the different slots and days will be made in a personalized way from the unit.

CENTRE EMILI MIRA

Acute Mental Health Units (H2 and H6)

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
2 authorised persons during the entire stay.
The patient may be visited by one of these companions during the first 15 days of admission*.
From the 15th day of admission, there will be no restriction on the number of authorised persons.
Opening hours: from 12:00 h to 20:00 h.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Units (H1, H3, Llevant 3 and Llevant 4)

Visits by relatives/guardians/companions on the premises, by appointment, and lasting 2 hours.

Cognitive Disorders and Psychogeriatrics Units (Llevant 1 and Llevant 2)

Visits every day from the first day of admission.
2 authorised persons during the entire admission.
The patient may be visited by one of these companions during the first 15 days of admission*.
From the 15th day of admission, there will be no restriction on the number of authorised persons.
Opening hours: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
